Welcome to ahimsa yoga studios -- a studio of compassion, practicing yoga in the Kripalu tradition.


The practice of Kripalu Yoga is designed to lead us to an ever-increasing knowledge of our mind and body's needs in order to achieve and maintain good physical, mental and spiritual health. In short, Kripalu Yoga deals with the whole person. Kripalu Yoga is for EVERYONE! It helps to improve strength, flexibility, and balance, as well as cultivate inner stillness.


At ahimsa yoga studios, we do not emphasize what is wrong with anyone, but rather what is RIGHT with them: each person has their own capacity for learning, for mobilizing their inner strengths and for changing behavior in new and imaginative ways. Each yoga session includes centering, warm-ups, postures, guided breathing, relaxation and guided meditation.
