YOGA FOR FASCIA WITH KIM WADE: 1 OF 3

Hello Ahimsa Yoga Family!

This blog post is directly from Kim Wade, one of your Ahimsa Yoga Teachers. I asked Kelly if I could reach out to you directly for a couple of reasons:

1. I turned 50 years old last month.

And I live with tech savvy teenagers. So for those of you who have lost your yoga practice since we went online, I feel you. I see you. I know that the tech required to show up for your yoga practice has turned quite a few of you off from getting to your mat. And I am writing this email to you to highly encourage you to reconsider.

2. I have received quite a lot of feedback from our older students over this last year and a half that, once they got the tech down (with help from your Ahimsa family/your neighbors/your kids) they actually feel that their yoga practice has really grown in ways beyond what it was in the before times.

They find they are hitting the mat consistently, the meet and greet pre-class has them feeling connected to their teacher as well as the other students, they feel comfortable knowing their personal camera can stay on the whole time or off the whole time and, most surprisingly to them, they are finding that they have developed a home practice doing yoga on a regular basis that they never thought was possible for them...ever!

Remember: Yoga is not doing the poses! Yoga is the mind work to get to the mat to do the poses

To encourage you to do this mind work and get that yoga mat out again, I am offering a Yoga for Fascia Workshop on October 9th from 4-6 pm.

Why?
Fascia is everything! In this workshop, we will be taking our yoga practice to new heights and powerful discoveries catered specifically to the online format and to those of you who are older and perhaps have chronic injury or pain.

What is Fascia?
Watch my video to find out:

Doesn't that sound cool? It's a powerful way to practice and truly transformational.

Want to try it?
This is ideal for those who are 40-70 years old who want to heal and align in body/mind/spirit.

Be sure to watch the second video in the next email where I will show you a small sample of the work and how we can read our bodies like a book!
